As part of Devine Group’s commitment to the environment and sustainability, we have recently made a number of strategic investments into new machinery and equipment. In all cases, the investment we make in equipment is efficient first as we look to reduce our carbon footprint and drive forward with the changes we all wish to see as part of a pollution-free world.
We have invested in three Hitachi ZX 130 LC-7, three Takeuchi Mini Excavators a mixture of five tonners and nine tonnes, five Thwaites Dumpers again a mixture of three tonnes and nine-tonne vehicles and eight Ford Transit vans which are the most energy-efficient to date!
Devine Group is aware these are merely steps and we will need to deliver a whole host of changes over the coming years to ensure we play our role and continue to be part of the change that our world needs. Nigel Jordan Group, Managing Director, went onto say: “We have a focus on investing in equipment that allows us to build the housing and infrastructure the United Kingdom needs, whilst being mindful and aware of the impact some of the equipment and material play in protecting our environment. We will always have a policy of purchasing based on environmental impact and I am pleased this is now high up the agenda for many construction firms”.
