J Devine Civil Engineering was appointed by Bovis Homes, part of Vistry Group, to deliver vital infrastructure works for a significant development in North Whitely that will cater for 3,500 new homes.  

As part of the planning of this development, the retention of existing woodlands and the integration of large green spaces was a significant factor in ensuring the perfect balance between development and nature. 

J Devine Civil Engineering assisted with developing two new primary schools, a secondary school, retail units and a community centre, as well as the groundworks, foundations and infrastructure for the new homes. 

To cater for the new homes, major improvements to the existing road network and infrastructure were required. Devine Group delivered  10,000 square metres of road construction, foul and surface water sewers, culverts, pump stations, balancing and retention ponds, mains services, footpaths and high-grade public open spaces.
