Client: Persimmons & Charles Church Phase 4/2/1

Value: £9.6million

J Devine Civil Engineering undertook a notable project at Hammonds Farm, serving as the trusted construction partner for Persimmons & Charles Church in Phases 4, 2, and 1. The project held a substantial value of £9.6 million, reflecting its significance in the development of this residential community. The primary objective was to construct a total of 194 residential plots, offering a diverse range of housing options, including 2, 3, and 4-bedroom houses, as well as 1 and 2-bedroom apartments.

At the heart of this endeavour was the construction of approximately 15,500 square meters of estate roads, which formed the critical infrastructure for the community. These roads were meticulously planned and executed to ensure optimal connectivity within the residential area, enhancing accessibility and convenience for future residents and visitors.

In addition to the estate road construction, J Devine Civil Engineering played a vital role in the installation of essential utility services. This encompassed the establishment of foul and surface water main sewers, as well as mains services, which are fundamental for the seamless provision of water, electricity, and other essential amenities to the residential units. The construction of foundations, ground beams, oversites, and domestic drainage systems further demonstrated the company's commitment to creating a robust and sustainable housing infrastructure.

Furthermore, the project involved substructure brickwork and external works, adding the finishing touches to the residential properties and the surrounding environment. These elements contributed to the overall aesthetics and functionality of Hammonds Farm, creating a well-integrated and attractive living space for its future residents.
