Value: £22million

J Devine Civil Engineering undertook a significant construction project in Crawley Forgewood, catering to the housing needs of Persimmons & Charles Church PH1, PH2, and PH3. The project had a substantial value of £22 million, reflecting its scale and complexity. The primary objective was to develop a residential community comprising 625 residential plots, offering a diverse range of housing options, including 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom houses, as well as 1 and 2-bedroom apartments.

One of the critical aspects of this project was the construction of 8,900 square meters of estate roads, which would serve as the backbone of the community's infrastructure. These roads were designed to provide convenient access to the various housing units while ensuring the safety and ease of movement for residents and visitors alike. The construction of estate roads involved intricate planning and precise execution to meet the project's high standards.

In addition to the estate road construction, J Devine Civil Engineering was responsible for the installation of essential utilities and services. This included the establishment of foul and surface water main services, as well as mains services to ensure the seamless provision of water, electricity, and other essential amenities to the residential units. The foundations, ground beams, oversites, and domestic drainage systems were also meticulously constructed to ensure the long-term durability and functionality of the housing structures.

Furthermore, the project encompassed substructure brickwork and external works, which added the finishing touches to the residential properties and the surrounding landscape. These elements played a vital role in enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of the community, creating a pleasant and well-integrated living environment for the future residents of Crawley Forgewood.
